Actually, Joop, there's been quite a bit of such bashing. I suppose the
REAL question (along this frutless line) is whether it is particularly
ISOC-oriented, or whether it encompasses a larger group of groups.

It's not what YOU want to have happen, but just before Kent's note, I
nearly sent a complaint to the poster of:

I refrained because it would just feed the emotional content of the list.

So, let me suggest, instead of deciding whether you are write or Kent is
right, that there be a strict encforcement of postings being limited to the
topic at hand. Activities by ancillary groups does not qualify for
posting. Further, the uncivil and unprofessional indulgence in a "bashing"
tone is what should be avoided vigorously.

The legitimate reason for posting such "news" articles is to make sure that
list members are informed about something. Let's assume that list members
belong to other lists and get there news there. That way, THIS list is for
discussion of IDNO activities... ONLY.
