Well, he most certainly has that right as does each of us.

Another right we share with Mr. Crispin is the right of free assembly.

Let Mr. Crispin do what he will.

Let us do what we must.

Joop Teernstra has called for elections to move this assembly towards
becoming a constituency. So, please vote!

By the way, I think that an objective assessment of the IDNO to this point
is that we are in the early stages of "self-organization." [ICANN should
like that.] To make that happen someone had to conceive of the organization
and initially assume the role of leader. Thank you Joop.

Also, in my experience, organizations (big and small) are NOT led by neutral
persons (that includes every boy scout troop, pick-up basketball team, city
council, academic department, republic, company and household--I can think
of).
