I never said they ate rats, I implied they could "smell a rat", and by
having their nostrils at the front of a very long beak, they could smell it
before anyone else could.
And since we're talking about the goings-on in ICANN, "smelling a rat" is a
very good ability to have.
And if you check http://mtbruce.doc.govt.nz/kiwi.htm you will see that they
also eat eels and frogs, which is a bit higher up the food chain than worms
and bugs.
But we're getting a little _too_ far off topic now, so back to your regular
programming...
