The No votes commented that the archives should be members-only and that is
was an additional burden to drop the request not to republish without the
author's consent.
While I have sympathy for these arguments, I think the will of the majority
of the voters is clear.
We will make the Archives of this list accessible on the Web.
The request not to republish without asking remains, but it is now just a
matter of politeness.
After this test (thank you all who took the trouble to use your voting
rights) I want to proceed immediately with a vote to confirm who will be
on the membership committee. You have all had the chance to nominate members.
