By all means, Rod. Let's join the working groups, let's discuss their
subject matter in idno-discuss and let yourself make any pronouncement on
the gTLD policy that you see fit.
This will be the very basis of your nomination and of the legitimization of
your position as an IDNO position.

Personally I think it is clear as glass that expansion of the gTLD's means
more competition and is in the interest of the Individual DN owners.
Chartered gTLD's might be useful as long as there is a healthy diversity of
charters.
If you would make an opposite pronouncement, it would need clear formal
backing of the membership to become an IDNO position.

Therefore the procedural horse *must* pull the carriage of substance-policy.

Those who are elected and who can be removed by election are the ones that
can act as spokespeople on matters of substance.
This is why our election is urgent. There are many articulate members, but
we have to determine who are the ones that can speak on behalf of us all.

Bear with us just a little longer. A few more days and we will have our
first elections for a 3 month interim steering committee.

Please make yourself eligible. Let us hear your idea's on the gTLD
questions. From expert information we can all benefit.
