I am not sure if I'm with you here, Rod.
One of the great economic achievements of the DNS has been to create value
for the collective of the DN owners.
Real value, not just perceived value.
What actions would you think would decrease perceived property values in DN
names?
Merely enlarging the gTLD space is not going to devalue .com values.
And other actions specifically aimed at devaluing DN's would meet strong
opposition from DN owners.
We must be cautious,
