I assure you that Kent is aware of this. He is deliberately spreading
the FUD, as you very well know. After two years of watching him make
these "innocent" mistakes I have decided to quit pretending to be so
naive. This latest FUD-flood, from Crocker and Crispin, which they do
EVERY time a new organization crops up to oppose the IAHC/CORE
coalition/ideology, is the same script they follow every time. They did
it with AlterNIC, eDNS, ORSC, etc. Someday, we will learn to ignore them
and go about our business, as we should.

I, for one, am tired of catering to them (for the 100th time). In case
you can't tell, I'm also tired of being nice to them. They certainly
don't return the courtesy. As an elected person to the membership
committee, I don't feel it is proper (contrary to the randy bush's
belief), to filter other members. Therefore I don't. However, I have
dropped my 'script to the DNSO.ORG and DOMAIN-POLICY lists. Both are a
waste of time, IMHO, as well as an added stress-source.

Kent has always believed that a voting system was against his interests
and works to discredit them at every turn and opportunity. There is no
way you can convince him not to, because it really IS against his best
interest for them to exist and become effective. Remember, his
affiliation has made great grounds by claiming rough consensus when
there isn't any. A working voting system would undercut their claims.
One of the reasons I am in the IDNO is BECAUSE of the voting system. It
is the only organization that has such a system, outside of the ISOC
(and the ISOC system is only used once a year).

This may sound like ad hominem, but I feel that, in this case, it is
called for. First, know who your enemies are, then understand why the
are your enemies, then understand how they think and work. Pretending
enemies aren't enemies is automatically self-defeating.
