video camera is returned to me -- it matches our serial number, and the 
store found it.  there's a tape in it with evidence for a crime.  We 
are going to report it to the police, but there's more going on

I go to meet some POC folks.  Some of them have changed; act as if they 
don't know me and have never met me, but are quite friendly and know my 
email etc.  Some OTOH are exactly the same, but act as if nothing at 
all is wrong.

Amadeu hints that there is something going on, but drops a very broad 
hint that I must be very careful not to betray anything.

I deduce that apparently some players have been substituted, and we are 
all acting out something for someone, for an unknown reason.  The 
question: what happened to the real players that I knew?  Were they 
real, or fake?  More important, the people I know who are apparently 
the same, how is it that they can act so completely normal?  But I'm 
acting normal to them!
