Aluminum baseball bats have become very popular at all levels of the game except Major League Baseball.

Players at the little league, high school, college, and amateur levels find aluminum bats far more durable and powerful than their wooden predecessors, but fans at major league ballparks seem to prefer the satisfying crack of a wooden bat over the metallic ping of an aluminum model.

There are few things in life so enjoyable as disparaging comments against one's opponent.
