If you take the Loma exit from I-70 and get on the dirt road that takes
offkind of behind the truck scales (on the river side of the highway) ,
you are on blm land and can drive for a mile or two and get away from
most traffic and camp anywhere.

I'd say 45 minutes to an hour.
