   It isn't as if ISOC doesn't have tons of influence in ICANN, given
its role in the protocol supporting SO, for example.

   The problem that ISOC chapters are feeling are the problems that most
of the world feels, there is no representation in DNSO for the general
public. NCDNHC is being a sort of proxy for the general public, because
there isn't much in else.

    They should just create a constituency for individuals, so people
don't have to try to cram into groups where they don't fit. Also, I
don't see why so many people who are represented in the ccTLD or other
groups insist on voting here too, given their largely commercial
interests in ICANN issues.
