yes i have humbly sugested to suport iana organisationaly and contextualy
to call for and held such a conference on some other internal lists where
the situation was discussed
becouse the iana hase the mandat to
bring together the various diverse stakeholder groups and
experts in corporate law and trusts to:
1) identify and articulate the parties, issues, and views, and
2) prepare a model, set of common principles, structure and general
charter provisions for the formation of an Internet
Assigned Numbers Corporation or Trust - hereafter called The Entity.
and not the NSI+aliance
isoc is working on a conference concept but i would think that
having iana calling for such a constitutional conference would be also not
bad and would take the nsi "air out" of its "ships" :-)-there is no doubt
that nsi hase purely comercial interests and power interests to and hase
team up with others to be ablle to exploite internet even more !
