The latter is not quite true. IBM has just wanted a slow phase of the new
gTLDs. In fact, some of us had lunch with the IBM representative in D.C. a few
days ago. We were told that following internal review of our responses to various
issues, they were on the verge of announcing in a press conference that they
support us. However, things are now on hold with them until they see what Magaziner
is up to.
