While I'll most certainly never be taking any ICANN board members to
dinner, I have to grant them the point on this issue. A couple of weeks
after the test started, I posted a question along the lines of "Where are
the other registrars?" I got several private replies from those registrars
and every one of the said that NSI's foot dragging and last-minute actions
delayed ICANN which delayed them. They all laid the blame, for this one,
squarely at NSI's doorstep.
