Martin Litton's ride...

Monday's paper had a large story on Martin Litton -- almost a full two
page spread. He's 80, now, and rowed his dory the entire length of
the Canyon. It says: "Insofar as is known, he is the oldest to row
himself down the Grand Canyon." Quite a trip -- they started right
at the base of the dam, instead of at Lee's Ferry. The singer Carol
King was along, and some other river notables, apparently.

Anybody know any more about this trip?
