How y'all are?
Having never been 'down in the ditch looking up', I could only
guestimate that predetermined charts (i.e. 'soundings') that would allow
neophytes to know where they are on the river, would be well received by
'newbies' and 'the old crowd' as well. Just as long as there are no
'stakes' and 'painted signboards' to marr the 'pristineliness' (a
Walterism) of the GC. SatSite readings/charts would be 'superfine'.
Is there any word (from the BLM/NPS godzillas) as to how long
the 21,000cfs +/- out of Glen Canyon is to continue?
