White Water

River running by,
running past my opened eyes.
River running under me,
gentle waters sweep the banks of time.
River running on,
past the canyons tall and wide.
Carries me to where I am,
I can hear it's rhythm and it's rhyme.

But the white water is why I'm here,
the churning chasms that draw me near,

you where to send a blank tape so that I can sing into it. Unfortunately, I
only play throat, so it would be a'capella.
I guess that's a very conveluted way to say I agree with you. I will say
that I have experienced the same seque in my business life and making that
co-hesion is way tough. But I think it can be done.
This morning when I opened my business, my first customer said to me,"Did you
know that you don't have any shoes on? " and I replied " The boss doesn't
care at all"
To Bob:
There have been numerous discussions in sailing mags about world cruisers
leaving the docks with little or no preperation, and how we (the public) all
pay for their stupidity and lack of foresight. (In rescue costs.) In any
sport you will get the occasional dork that doesn't care enough about his own
butt to PLAN AHEAD. I agree that S$R is a resource that should be used in
EMERGENCY ONLY, but then again when push comes to shove, I can still only be
responsible for ME. Education in this context seems to be best achieved one
on one. That is, by example. I can teach all the folks I take on trips with
me. And maybe impact that hard ass that I meet on the beach somewhere on
the river, by the things I do, and don't do. And as Ruth Ann says, "And
thats the TRUTH."
