Hi, I'm responding to a message you posted a few days ago (this may be
redundant therefore) about the lower part of the river.... I've been down to
Pearce twice (July '94 and '96), done the night float, rowed my ass off the
last few miles... at the time I sure would have liked a motor. However, now
I'm not sure that it would be worth the trouble, certainly not if you have to
pack the motor from Lee's. Picking it up at Diamond sounds good, though. It
would be interesting (maybe) to go further down to Temple Bar. I have friends
in Big Water who have done that. They know their stuff so maybe there's
something in it.
