PAB...

Whoaa...folks. I'm in Boston right now and not online much so I haven't
had time to explain what is happening.

We have one mailing list: pab@gtld-mou.org. Because some people unsubscribe
on account of pab email traffic, I decided that we need to create another
pab mailing list called pab-announce@gtld-mou.org which will go to all
signatories to the gTLD-MoU who have expressed a desire to participate in
PAB. My idea is that pab-announce@gtld-mou.org would only be used for
key announcements (just like gtld-announce@gtld-mou.org). It is a broadcast
only (one way) mailing list. Elections are something that need to be announced
on this list because of their importance.

There is no confusion at ITU about what to do - it is only a question of
resources and manpower. We need to go through the entire list of signatories
to the gTLD-MoU and add all people who said they wish to be on the pab to the
list pab-announce@gtld-mou.org which will be a superset of those on pab@gtld-mou.org.
Then pab excom can have control over this list to make key announcements to
the PAB.

I've promised this for Wednesday.

Robert
