The word secret implies an intention to deceive in some cultures. What we
are
taling about is confidentiallity of correspondence which is critical to
gaining competetive advantage. This is critical for any organisation
operating
in a competitive environment, whether they exist for profit or not.

I'm with Bob on this one. A move by PAB to become a part of the public will
in my view drive a wedge through an already framented organisation.

PAB needs to do thing which will keep POC / CORE / PAB coherent and unified.

>becouse pab "represents" the interests of gtld-mou signing institutions
>and is posible candidad to "represent" also "posible interests" of the
>internet community at large it is naturaly candidad to "work in public"

PAB exists to support POC by representing the needs of the signatories.

>how the poc core etc feels for its self and how they can develope model
>to "work in public" i dont know

POC cant ever in my view "work in public". They can make decisions which
reflect public needs if the gTLD-MoU is signed by significant number
(read 10,000's) of organisations and PAB is focused on providing POC
with views which represent a consensus of these signatories.

>i dont think the poc should make their discussion list availabel to the
>public but the minutes of the teleconferences/meetings or at least
>public statements after the meetings

One needs to be a babe in the woods to even suggest such a possibility.

POC needs to be able to operate in a confidential forum, just like any
other management mechanism operating in a competitive environment.

It may be possible that minutes of meetings be made available some
considerable time afterwards (read years) as by then the commercial
significance will have been reduced.

But I would see no point.

I strongly suggest everybody take a look at the entire organisations
needs rather than just PAB's self serving desire to pander to the
wishes of a few who think we are a secret society.
