I have a serious objection concern as to how these elections are being
organized. Now we face the problem of knowing who can and cannot vote due
to the lack of our control on the subscribers list. But there is also
another issue.
During last elections we [Not quite right, I, Bob Connelly, sent these
messaged direct to PAB members to see who was really there and who was not]
sent SEVERAL massages to each individual e-mail address subscribed both
during the nominations and the vote period. This was done because a lot of
PABers have difficulties to keep up with PAB mail. They ay more attention
to mails sent directly to them, not through the list.
I have not seen any of these mails this time. We will close nominations in
less than 48 hours when most probably there is a fair part of PAB not really
aware that a vote is going on.
