1) sex shops won't register under .xxx because they already have
perfectly fine domain names (look at the advertising bambi.com got
recently)
2) because not all sex shops are under .xxx, net.censors won't stop
filtering other content because .xxx exists, and net.newbies will
stumble across it in all sorts of places.
Much pain. No gain.
Been there. Tried that. Didn't work.
PICS is not anywhere near a nice solution. But it's less disgusting
than all the alternatives I've seen proposed so far.
