Thank you Dan. This was indeed long-awaited. Now I feel free to announce
to you all, that I will not be standing for the Steering committee myself,
this time round.
In the election you may still give me ticks for spokesman, if you wish, but
I feel that I have been grand-poobah long enough and that Dan Steinberg can
provide the diplomatic and competent leadership that will help the IDNO
further along.
With the creation of an elected Steering Committee, even if only for a 3
months term of office, in which all the members will have the chance to
evaluate their performance and re-elect them, the role of single
bootstrapper will be taken over by 21 bootstrappers.
For your reference the following names will be up for election for the
Steering Comittee and displayed on our voting site

However, you will have multiple votes and you may vote for any other
listed member too. Members that collect more than 2 votes will be informal
nominees for the next election in 3 month time.
Members with the highest number of votes will be considered for the role of
spokesmen/women by the newly elected steering committee.

The polling Booth will be open from now through Monday, 9. p.m. Pacific
Time. The results will be accessible to all voters while the election
progresses.
Anyone still wanting to put up statements, email me quickly and I will put
them up on the website.
