I just got off the river on june 5th. you'll be running at 21,000
through the end of June after that check with the ranger at lees.
I'd recommend hiking up the Tapeats fork vs. the road to Thunder River.
You've got to get into the creek through the narrows but its great.
beautiful water falls etc. Can go into the cave and sign the register
etc. Also the upper Tapeats amphitheatre is beautiful.
Take a coupe of throw bags and a belay line, a few beaners, etc. for the
lot at deer creek. with that you could go all the way to the falls pour
over. We made it to what we called the lumber room. Cottonwood logs
30' overhead from past flashes.
Take your trout rods for Marble Canyon. I like chasing lunkers with
3-4" spoons.
Have a great one.
