One of the commercial outfitters said they were proud of the fact that they
catered to folk who had never been camping before. How does the camp ethic
effect these folk? Whitmore to the lake passengers are a chore to train for
one night until they get in the jet boat next morning. Tom Myers monograph
on injuries in GC will be out by years end (red lake books) and will show
privates get injured more, but helicopter evacs are proportional to
allocation. Tom's work also shows the biggest danger off river is taking a
pee pre dawn, with the FOOSH fracture (fractured distal radius from Fall On
Out Streched Hand) being the most common result.

Great discussion Judy. This is not easy. Please hang in there.
Thanks to Len for the updated charter, that feeling of sitting by the fire
is great.
